Daniel Kopronica founded Compassionate Friends Homecare in 2017 with a mission to bring compassionate, reliable, and veteran-centered care to those who need it most. With a career rooted in service, Daniel began his journey in 1990 when he joined the U.S. Army and National Guard as an Operating Room Technician, serving in the 145th MASH (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital) unit, where he gained invaluable medical experience and a deep sense of duty to others.
After completing his military service, Daniel continued his healthcare journey as a surgical assistant for eight years. He later became a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), working in nursing homes and private home care settings. These hands-on roles gave him firsthand insight into the challenges and needs of both patients and caregivers—insight that now drives the personalized approach of Compassionate Friends Homecare.
Today, Daniel leads Compassionate Friends Homecare with the same dedication, discipline, and compassion that defined his military and medical careers. His goal is simple: to ensure every veteran/client receives the dignity, respect, and quality care they deserve in the comfort of their own home.
Beyond his professional work, Daniel is an active member of his community. He serves on the board of AMVETS Post 47, where he advocates for veteran support and engagement. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, playing golf, and spending time with friends and family.
